Bentley's First Vacation!!!

Well, we've had A LOT going on since the last post.  We went to Panama City Beach June 18-25, and we had a wonderful time.
Packing with a baby was interesting.  Daniel made really good use of every ounce of space we had in the car.

Bentley is READY!!  Let's go...Beach Bound!

As soon as we got into traffic in Panama City, Porsche thought she needed to help drive.
"I've got this, Daddy, you take a break!"

Windows down. wind in my hair...Ahhhh, the smell of the salty ocean!!

Not only did Bentley have his first vacation, but Daniel spent his first Father's Day in beautiful, sunny PCB, Florida with his family and friends.  When Daniel woke up on Father's Day, he went to take Porsche out to potty, and when he returned his gift was waiting for him.  He got two Lacoste shirts, a new hat, and something every Daddy has to have...a new coffee mug.

Daddy's first "Dad Mug"
Happy Father's Day!!
After opening presents, we got up and checked on our crew.  Russ, Cyndel, and Coen and Chris, Kayla, and Karington went to PCB with us.  We all sat on the balcony, drank our coffee, discussed the excitement of vacation, and enjoyed one another's company.  After a relaxing moment, the ladies all cooked a yummy breakfast for the guys for Father's Day.  We had bacon, sausage, and cheese stuffed biscuits, eggs, watermelon, and cantaloupe.  YUMMMM!  The guys hung out with their kiddos...too sweet!

Good Morning Dads!!
After a delicious breakfast...Let Vacation Begin!!  We spent lots of time on the beach, some time by the pool, and ate so much delicious food, I'm hungry just thinking about it.  We had Hungry Howie's when we arrived on Saturday, and each night was finished off with each of the following restaurants:  Sharky's, Boatyard, Angelo's, Margaritaville, Buckaloo's, Saltwater Grill.  Believe it or not, we had at least 6 adults and 3 children every night, and the longest we waited for a table was 30 minutes.  We were shocked!!!  Here's a bunch of pictures of our trip...documenting memories of Bentley's first vacation was so much fun.

Bentley and Coen enjoyed Bentley's play mat together.
 FUN IN THE SUN!!! :)
Karington enjoyed her little pool they set up at the beach...Genius idea!

This is  how Bentley and I spent time at the beach.  The ocean air was like drug to him.  He would fall asleep in the 30 seconds it took me to walk from our room to the elevator.  It was so peaceful.

Though Coen didn't really care for the beach and the sand last year, he LOVED it this year.  He had a wonderful time playing in the sand and throwing it back into the ocean.

This is the one time that Daniel and I had fun in the sun together at the beach.

Bentley hung out (slept on) his Aunt Cyndel while Daniel and I got some sun.

Coen had a little help from the other guys burying his Daddy in the sand.

While Bentley was awake during the day, we spent time under the pavilion by the pool.  He was super happy to play outside.

Daniel and I went out early on an overcast morning to get some cute pics of Bentley.  I had tons of pictures of him sleeping, but I didn't have any cute swimsuit pics of him doing anything else.  Here he is chilling in the beach chair...ALMOST asleep.

Okay...this is about 2.2 seconds before he fell asleep sitting up.
EATING OUT!!! :)
We had a ton of pictures while we were eating out, but I figure you all don't want to sift through them all.  Here's a few to take a look at.

Scott, Mary Catherine, and Anna Scott were in PCB at the same time we were, so we hung out with them at the Boatyard one night.

Here's all the girls with the kiddos.

Here's all the guys with the kiddos.

All of us had a great time.  It was our first time seeing Anna Scott, and it was the Laney's first time seeing Bentley.  Who knows???  Maybe Anna Scott and Bentley will be friends someday.

Bentley was so good at all the restaurants.  He hung out in his seat at the Saltwater Grill.

He snoozed away at Buckaloo's.
BEACH PHOTOS
We took family beach photos one evening, and they turned out good.
Chris, Kayla, and Karington made a really good picture together.

Russ, Cyndel, and Coen are posing nicely.

Daddy, Mommy, and Bentley...Daniel was holding my hair down so it didn't blow up into an afro.

Mommy and Bentley...I LOVE my baby!!!

Daddy and Bentley...do they look alike or what?

Sweet Feet!

COMING HOME!!!

I don't want to go home...I want to stay at the beach!!!

Porsche let Bentley see her new turtle, Thomas.  She gets a new toy for each beach trip.  He had a good time playing with Thomas on the way home.

Bentley was excited about wearing his souvenir shirt once we were home on Sunday.

Check out my shirt...it's a little big, but it's the smallest size they had.

Bentley is just two weeks shy of three months old, and we cannot believe how fast time is passing.  We'll post another update before too long, so stay posted!!
